AAK Personal Care was a very active participant at in-cosmetics Asia 2015 in Bangkok. Already at the entrance to the exhibition, visitors were met by large pillars providing a glimpse of what to expect by visiting us at stand K10. During the show, Jarek Tabor, technical manager at AAK Personal Care, held a special presentation at the Innovation Seminar Theatre entitled, “Asianification or Westification? Sustainable tools for new face care rituals”.
The focus of the 30-minute talk was Lipex SheaLight, an ingredient that opens the gateway for creating products inspired by Asian skin care rituals with their delightful aesthetics, whilst achieving a more natural and sustainable profile. This presentation highlighted the multi-functionality of Lipex SheaLight across all steps within evolving skin care rituals.

In addition, AAK Personal Care was also invited to participate as a panellist in the open panel discussion, “Natural & Organic roundtable: Overcoming industry challenges”. Subjects discussed during the session were the current state, challenges and possible solutions for natural and organic cosmetics. Various aspects of positioning cosmetic products, especially in Asia, the marketing of consumer products, certifications and development, were debated. Jarek Tabor from AAK Personal Care represented the raw materials industry, Jorge Larranga of Number Three Cosmetics represented the natural and organic cosmetics industry, and Joanne Barber of Australian Organic represented certification bodies.
