A unique blend of vegetable oils and fats, Lipex BC is designed to control bloom and provide structure to cosmetic stick and pencil formulations. It creates firm, smooth, and uniform textures that melt at body temperature to deliver a soft creamy payoff. Lipex BC also adds richness and density to skin care emulsions with fast melting profiles.

Recommended applications: skin care and color cosmetics
Typical use concentrations: 5–10% for skin care, 2-15% for lipsticks, and 10-50% for cosmetic pencils

Lipex BC combines well with most of the hard waxes, high melting fats and oils used in sticks and pencils. This high compatibility, together with its rapid crystallization to a stable form, helps prevent recrystallization and fat bloom in formulations. The body temperature melting point allows the use of Lipex BC at high levels (5-10%) to enhance texture and payoff in stick and pencil formulations.
