Description

Based on rapeseed oil, Akofine R is a biodegradable, eco-friendly powdered fat with a high melting point and good thermal and oxidative stability. It is particularly suitable for use as a stabilizer and structuring agent for oil in water and water in oil cosmetic emulsions.

Recommended applications: skin care and color cosmetics
Typical use concentrations: 1–5%
Recommended partner products: Any LIPEX® liquid or semi-solid emollient

Features and benefits

The high melting point helps stabilize oil phases of emulsions and adds texture at low concentrations. It can also help increase the melting point of cosmetic stick formulations.
