Description

Akoline PG7 is a non-ionic, polyglycerol ester emulsifier made from edible, saturated vegetable fatty acids and is both oxidative and heat stable. The polyglycerol component primarily comprises di-, tri-, and tetra-glycerol. The main fatty acids are C16 and C18. Akoline PG7 creates soft, fluid emulsions and is particularly suitable for cosmetic lotions and balms.

Akoline PG7 forms stabilizing liquid crystals which means you can create smooth, glossy-looking formulations with good spreadability. It has broad emollient compatibility making it suitable for use as a primary emulsifier for vegetable oils and esters, as well as mineral oils, silicones, and petrolatum.
